THE SCIENCE BEHIND YOUR RITUAL

LIGHT TECHNOLOGY.
MADE SIMPLE.

LED stands for light-emitting diode. Your mask uses different wavelengths of light, selected through its controller. Each setting is a different light combination.

What can red light do for skin?

Red light improves the appearance of fine lines and skin texture with regular use. Results vary by device, settings and person.

What light modes does my mask have?

Your mask delivers red (630 ±10 nm), blue (460 ±10 nm), green (520 ±10 nm) and near-infrared (850 ±10 nm). Yellow combines red + green; purple combines red + blue; cyan combines green + blue; white combines all three visible colours. These combination modes are not additional standalone wavelengths.

Near-infrared is outside the visible spectrum. The controller lets you switch it on separately.

BENEATH THE GLOW

HOW LIGHT MEETS YOUR SKIN.

Conceptual illustration, not to scale. Light scatters and fades as it travels. Actual penetration depends on wavelength, skin and device settings.

01 / THE SURFACE

The epidermis is your outer protective layer. Some incoming light reflects off the surface; the rest enters skin, where it is scattered or absorbed.

02 / BELOW THE SURFACE

The dermis contains collagen and elastin. Red and near-infrared light generally travel deeper than blue light, reaching different structures within skin.

03 / THE CELL RESPONSE

Absorbed light can influence cellular signalling. This process is called photobiomodulation. Wavelength, intensity and session length all shape the response.

Red light, mitochondria & your skin’s energy

SMALL CELLS. BIG ENERGY.

Mitochondria are tiny structures inside your cells that help make ATP, the energy cells use for everyday activity, maintenance and repair.

Red and near-infrared light can interact with light-sensitive molecules inside cells. One leading explanation involves cytochrome c oxidase, an enzyme in the mitochondrial energy-making chain. Under certain conditions, this interaction may influence ATP production and the signals cells use to respond to stress.

In skin research, these cellular responses are studied alongside collagen production, skin texture and the appearance of fine lines. This is photobiomodulation: using light to influence biological activity. The precise mechanisms are still being investigated, and the response depends on the dose, wavelength and condition of the cells.

Think of it as a light signal that may support your cells’ existing processes. Longer sessions are not automatically better. Stay with the recommended routine.

FIND YOUR LIGHT.

Four base wavelengths. Seven visible colour modes. A separate near-infrared setting. Your light. Your ritual. Explore SVNT’s red and near-infrared technology for a routine focused on smoother-looking skin, fine lines and glow. Choose a single colour or combine wavelengths in one session. Make time for yourself, one habit at a time.

Red · 630 ±10 nm

YOUR SKIN-SMOOTHING RITUAL

Red light can reach into the dermis, where collagen-producing cells live. Research explores its role in supporting smoother-looking skin and the appearance of fine lines. Build it into a consistent weekly ritual.

BENEFITS & FOCUS

  • Softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Improves skin texture for smoother-looking skin.
  • Supports collagen for a firmer-looking complexion.
Blue · 460 ±10 nm

FOR YOUR CLARITY ROUTINE

Blue light interacts more superficially with skin than red light. SVNT uses 460 nm blue LEDs. Benefits depend on wavelength and dose; this setting should not be treated as equivalent to the 415 nm blue light used in some acne-treatment devices.

BENEFITS & FOCUS

  • A more superficial light setting for your clarity-focused ritual.
  • Blue-light acne research is wavelength-specific; benefits from 415 nm devices cannot be assumed for this 460 nm setting.
Green · 520 ±10 nm

A BALANCE-FOCUSED SETTING

A standalone 520 nm wavelength for your green-light ritual. Green light is absorbed and scattered differently from red light. Research into its skincare effects is still developing, so choose it as a light setting rather than a promise to control oil or pigmentation.

BENEFITS & FOCUS

  • A standalone green-light option for a personalised routine.
  • Evidence for oil control, dark spots and tone correction at this setting is still limited.
Yellow · red + green

TWO WAVELENGTHS. ONE MODE.

This setting combines 630 nm red and 520 nm green. It is not a separate 590 nm yellow LED. Both base wavelengths are delivered together. The yellow appearance describes the colour combination, rather than a new standalone wavelength.

BENEFITS & FOCUS

  • Includes red light, studied for fine lines and smoother-looking texture.
  • Combines red and green in one session; added benefits of this exact combination are not established.
Purple · red + blue

YOUR COMBINATION RITUAL

Purple brings together 630 nm red and 460 nm blue. The setting delivers both visible wavelengths together in one session, combining the more superficial interaction of blue with the deeper reach of red.

BENEFITS & FOCUS

  • Includes red light, studied for skin smoothness and the appearance of fine lines.
  • Pairs red with blue in one session; it is not a proven acne-scar treatment.
Cyan · green + blue

A TWO-COLOUR SETTING

Cyan combines 520 nm green with 460 nm blue. It brings the two base colours together in a single session. Select cyan on the controller to experience the combination.

BENEFITS & FOCUS

  • Brings green and blue together in one easy-to-select mode.
  • Distinct complexion benefits of this exact combination have not been established.
White · red + green + blue

THE THREE-COLOUR COMBINATION

White switches on the red, green and blue LEDs together: 630, 520 and 460 nm. It is not an additional white wavelength, the colour comes from the three visible wavelengths working together.

BENEFITS & FOCUS

  • Includes the red-light wavelength studied for skin texture and fine lines.
  • All three visible wavelengths in one mode; more colours do not automatically mean stronger results.
Near-infrared · 850 ±10 nm

LIGHT BEYOND WHAT YOU CAN SEE

Near-infrared sits outside the visible spectrum, so you may not see it glow. Red and near-infrared light are studied in photobiomodulation. Near-infrared generally travels deeper into skin than visible blue light. Light absorbed by cellular molecules can influence signalling involved in skin maintenance. Use the separate NIR control to enable this setting; it is off by default.

BENEFITS & FOCUS

  • Studied alongside red light for the appearance of facial wrinkles.
  • Research explores collagen, elasticity and cellular signalling involved in skin maintenance.
  • Reaches beyond visible blue light and complements a red-light ritual.
How do I start my ritual?

Fully charge before first use. Complete the supplied photosensitivity test, then use on clean, dry skin without makeup. Secure the mask, select your mode and follow the supplied instructions. The controller defaults to 10 minutes and offers adjustable timers.

Start with three sessions per week for four weeks. Follow the supplied safety instructions. Stop if you experience burning or discomfort; seek medical advice if you have a light-sensitive condition or take photosensitising medication.

When will I see a difference?

Your glow is a ritual. Make LED part of your weekly routine: start with three sessions a week for four weeks. Take a before photo and track your skin as you build the habit. Consistency is key. Individual results vary.
